Neovis is a class IIb medical device.

- NEOVIS® contains sodium hyaluronate, a component that is naturally present in the eye, which helps protect the ocular surface in case of irritation.
- The physical properties of sodium hyaluronate give NEOVIS® a capacity for water retention, which allows a lubricating film to be formed in the eye surface.
NEOVIS® contributes to reduce symptoms of dry eye disease.
WARNINGS:
- Do not swallow.
- Do not use the bottle if it is damaged or contaminated (risk of contamination).
- Do not use after the expiry date displayed on the product. (risk of contamination and loss of product performance).
- Use within 6 months after first opening without exceeding the expiry date (risk of contamination and loss of product performance).
- Store at room temperature (+2°C to 30°C). Practice handling the bottle before using the product for the first time.
- Carefully close the bottle after each use, making sure there are no residual drops on the tip. Remove any drops with a sharp flick of the wrist (risk of contamination).
- Avoid contact between the bottle tip and the hands, eye, eyelids or contact lenses (risk of microbial contamination).
- Avoid touching or wiping the tip with your fingers or non-sterile fabric (risk of microbial contamination).
- The device must not be taken apart or damaged, for example by the tip being pierced, mechanical shock or improper use.
- The tip and vent hole must not be obstructed or damaged, for example by mechanical shock.
- The device must not be perforated, excessively handled or taken apart.
- If your doctor has prescribed another eye drop, wait at least 15 minutes putting each different drop into your eyes (risk of modification of the eye drop effect).
- If problems persist when using NEOVIS®, consult a doctor.
- If you suffer from severe damage to the cornea (clear layer at the front of the eye), do not use the product.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to Horus Pharma and the competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient is established.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not use in cases where there is hypersensitivity to one of the components.
ADVERSE EFFECTS:
In very rare cases, transitory problems such as mild conjunctival irritation, the feeling of a foreign body in the eye, redness, burning or itching sensation, or momentary disturbance of vision, can appear on application. In very rare cases, phosphates can cause vision problems (cloudiness) due to calcium build-up during treatment. If an adverse effect persists, or if there is an adverse effect not described in this leaflet, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
